Hello
A Bit About Me
I am a slightly wacky boater and artist. I work as a helmsman and enjoy skippering boats on the UK canals.
My work can be heavy. Six weeks recuperating after a hernia operation has finally given me time to create a pattern portfolio. That's a silver lining!
My ambition* is to license some of my work and earn a proportion of my future living from my art, meaning less time out in all weathers bow-hauling and sheeting up tarmac. I'll still skipper, because I love it, and the photo below shows why.
(*My other ambition is to be a digger driver when I grow up.)
I enjoy creating patterns. To finally be unleashing my designs into the world is exciting. As well as the joy I get from drawing, we will get to see my patterns on products. Yay!

Sunrise on the canal. I had a 05:00 hrs start to be able to enjoy this view though.
